Rincón de la Victoria

Rincón de la Victoria is a coastal town located on the eastern side of the province of Málaga, in the Andalusia region of southern Spain.
The town lies on the Costa del Sol, about 12 kilometers east of the city of Málaga,
and is known for its beautiful beaches, historical heritage, and lively atmosphere.
History
Rincón de la Victoria has a rich history dating back to prehistoric times,
as evidenced by archaeological finds such as the Cueva del Tesoro (Treasure Cave), one of the three known sea caves in the world.
During the Roman and Moorish occupations, the area was an important center for trade and agriculture,
before being conquered by the Catholic Monarchs in the late Middle Ages.
